Feasibility Study to develop and assess potential options for an EU youth mobility scheme (EUYMS) with non-EU countries
The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) is currently assessing the feasibility of developing an EU Youth Mobility Scheme with non-EU countries. DG HOME has asked Ramboll Management Consulting, Milieu Consulting, PwC, Verian (formerly Kantar Public), and Labor Mobility Partnerships to carry out this study.
The objective of this study is to assess whether it would make sense to develop such an EU scheme and, if so, what it could look like. At this point, the feasibility study is a preliminary and explorative step, and our only goal is to thoroughly understand the existing landscape and gather insights that may inform potential future developments.
To this end, we have set up a survey which we kindly ask you to fill in. It will gather data on the identified gaps of existing bilateral schemes at the level of individual Member States, and the potential added value of an EU-wide initiative, including the different options for the design of such a scheme. Your input is vital to ensure that all views can be considered in the development and refinement of potential policy measures and options.
Your answers will be strictly confidential. Your identity will not be mentioned directly in the study reporting. The results will be reported at an aggregate level and will not be disclosed to the European Commission.
