Information event “Info-Day” of the Horizon Europe Programme in Lviv (26-27.03.2024, Lviv)

On March 26-27, 2024, a representative of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the information event “Info-Day” to disseminate information to target groups within the framework of the project Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine (HEOinUA) in Lviv. During the two days, representatives of higher education institutions, research institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, central and local governments, and NGOs learned about the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe, its opportunities and benefits for Ukrainian participants, and the specifics and practical aspects of participation in it.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the European Commission, the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, Horizon Europe Offices in different countries, the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, other international support programmes and projects that operate in synergy with Horizon Europe, also the HEOinUA’s specialists were speakers of the event.

In total, the event was attended by over 250 people, both offline and online. The event aroused great interest among those, who are already participating in the Programme or are interested in it.

During the Info-Day, Zhanna TALANOVA, Deputy Coordinator – Analytical Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, Coordinator of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE team) talked about ensuring synergy between the Erasmus+ projects and research of higher education institutions, under the Horizon Europe in particular.
