25 Ukrainians will receive EU’s scholarships for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes
Totally 25 Ukrainians out of 3,103 winners of the 2025 сall will study at Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters at universities in EU member states and worldwide funded by the European Union Erasmus+ Programme. Additionally, 8 students from Ukraine will study without scholarship.
22 female and 3 male students from Ukraine fully funded by EU will start Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programmes this autumn at the leading universities of Austria, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom. The main subject areas of the students’ choice are: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Inclusive Education, Law and Economics, Transnational German Studies, Biology of Ageing, Islands and Sustainability, Image Processing and Computer Vision, Intellectual Property and Data Law, Education Policy, Game Studies, Photonics, Migration and Intercultural Relations, Theoretical Chemistry, Prehistory and Quaternary Studies, Museum and Heritage Education, Public Policy, Mathematical Modelling and Data Science.
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are unique master degree programmes developed by a consortium of a minimum of two European universities which provide grants that fully cover the study programme, travel cost, insurance, visa support, scholarship of EUR 1 000 per month, etc. In addition to their main curricula, students will be enrolled at language courses, traineeships, learn about the countries of their stay, discover and enjoy new culture together with groupmates from around the world.
A total of 433 Ukrainian students have won Erasmus Mundus scholarships since 2014. They are considered to act as ‘ambassadors’, promote and support Ukraine in Europe and will contribute to Ukraine’s development, modernisation and reforms.
