Seminar-Training for teams of projects winners of the Erasmus+ 2025 Jean Monnet Call for proposals: implementation features, synergy and interaction with other projects and initiatives in the context of martial law in Ukraine (14.10.2025, online)
On 14 October, 2025, 10:00 – 13:00 as part of the All-Ukrainian #ErasmusDays2025, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine held a Seminar-Training for teams of projects winners of the Erasmus+ 2025 Jean Monnet Call for proposals “Implementation features, synergy and interaction with other projects and initiatives in the context of martial law in Ukraine”, which took place online. Events within the framework of #ErasmusDays2025 are held by NEO – Ukraine jointly and with the support of co-organizers (more details in the description of the #ErasmusDays2025 concept).
The event was attended by 51 representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine – project implementers: coordinators and managers, teams of universities that are starting or already implementing EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet projects in the field of higher education.
During the event, participants received practical information on the implementation of Jean Monnet projects within the EU Erasmus+ Programme under martial law in Ukraine. In particular, they learned about the following key aspects:
- Basic documents for project implementation
- First steps in the project, institutionalization of the project and results
- Roles in the project and communication with the EACEA project officer
- Work in the project office system on management and reporting
- Management of grant costs
- Regulatory documents in martial law
- Current activities within the project: features and main aspects, communication and synergy, work with target groups
- Scientific component of the project, ensuring the quality of research products, project sustainability
- Visibility and dissemination of results, conducting communication events
- Continues and periodic/final reporting: requirements of the grant agreement
- Specifics of state registration of Jean Monnet projects

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Ph.D., Coordinator of NEO – Ukraine (EU funded project), covered such issues as roles in the project and communication with the EACEA project officer, work in the project office system on management and reporting, grant costs management, regulatory documents under martial law. Zhanna TALANOVA, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Deputy Coordinator of NEO – Ukraine (EU funded project), Manager of Analytical Work and the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE team) spoke about the importance of projects to study and disseminate European studies in Ukraine for the development of the scientific potential of the institution and the accreditation of educational programs in HEIs, provided recommendations on the implementation of the scientific component of the project, ensuring the quality of scientific products, and project sustainability. Petro KRAINIK, Jean Monnet Manager of NEO – Ukraine (EU funded project), spoke about the features and main aspects of project implementation, communication and synergy, work with target groups, and also spoke about the state registration of Jean Monnet projects in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Invited practitioner Olena MYKOLENKO, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University shared her experience in implementing Jean Monnet projects and presented the results achieved within the university’s projects.
At the end of the event, a “Questions and Answers” session was held, during which participants had the opportunity to ask practical and specific questions regarding the implementation of projects, and several practical cases were worked out with project teams.
