TRAINING “eTwinning and other EUs Erasmus+ Programme opportunities for development of organisational culture and international cooperation capacity of schools” (06.12.2025, Kyiv)
On December 6, 2025, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine joined the training “eTwinning and Other Erasmus+ EU Programme Opportunities for Developing School Organisational Culture and International Capacity”, hosted by Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages No. 1.
The event brought together around 100 education professionals, including school leaders and teachers actively involved in the EU eTwinning Programme, as well as representatives of higher education institutions preparing future teachers, from nearly 40 educational institutions across Ukraine.
Within the framework of the training, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, presented Erasmus+ opportunities for general secondary education institutions, with a particular focus on such strands as “Youth Exchanges (educational mobility)”, “Partnerships for Schools”, and other instruments supporting international cooperation. The presentation emphasised the role of international projects in strengthening schools’ institutional capacity, developing organisational culture, and enhancing their international engagement.
During the training, participants discussed the strategic importance of internationalisation for schools, analysed their institutional readiness to participate in international projects, identified priorities for international activities, and shared experiences of cooperation with European partners. Particular attention was paid to practical examples of eTwinning initiatives and their impact on teachers’ professional development and internal organisational transformation of schools.
The event concluded with interactive activities prepared by teachers of Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages No. 1, showcasing best practices in educational internationalisation, intercultural dialogue, and psychological recovery practices within the school environment.
