International Erasmus+ Week in Ukraine: International Erasmus+ Info Day in Ukraine Call For Proposals 2020 (04.11.2019, Kyiv)

76646823 1256550777848484 7530864616801304576 nOn 4 November 2019 the International Erasmus+ Info Day in Ukraine: Call for Proposals 2020 was held in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

International Erasmus+ Week in Ukraine was organized jointly by National Erasmus+ office – Ukraine together with: Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine; Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine; the EU Delegation to Ukraine; Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA); Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Co-organizers: Erasmus+ Agencies from Programme Countries, National Erasmus+ Offices from Partner Countries, Programme and Partner Countries Universities.

About 400 participants from Berdyansk, Bila Tserkva, Cherkasy, Chernihiv Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Izmail, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv, Lutsk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky, Pokrovsk, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Uman, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhya, Zhytomyr attended the event.

Opening speeches were made by Volodymyr BUGROV, Pro-Rector on Science & Educational work, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Olena KOZIEVSKA, Deputy Head of the Secretariat, Ukraine Parliament’s Committee on Education, Sciences and Innovations and Vira RYBAK, Coordinator of Sector on Education and Science, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.

Relevance to reforms for cooperation under Erasmus+ were highlighted by Oleg SHAROV, Director General of the Higher Education and Adult Education Directorate, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Iryna BELYAEVA, Expert on youth policy at the Department of Youth Policy Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport of Ukraine.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, presented launching novelties of the 2020 call for proposals within EU-funded Erasmus+ Programme and overview of new Erasmus opportunities for 2021-2027.

Gerhard VOLZ, National Erasmus+ Agency in Austria and Nedal JAYOUSI, National Erasmus+ Offices in Palestine provided presentations on partnership search recommendation, specifics to avoid duplication, synergy with other projects, ideas for cooperation justified value added.

Practical guidelines and success stories for successful proposals on education and youth Erasmus+ projects in Ukraine were presented by Mykola MOVCHAN, Deputy Head of the Commission, National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Deputy Minister, Ministry of the Youth and Sports of Ukraine 2014-2019 (as partners in CBY and Sports Actions), Kateryna POLYAKOVA, NGO “HURT” (Strategic Partnerships – as partner), Lyubov ZINYUK, Vasyl Stefanyk Pre-Carpathian National University (CBHE as applicant), Konstantin KYRYCHENKO, Sumy State University (CBHE as partner), Lyudmyla GULYAEVA, Academy of Labour, Social Relations and Tourism (Strategic Partnerships as partner, Jean Monnet as applicant) and Sergiy ZUBKOV, Kharkiv State University of Food Technologies and Trade (Capacity Building for Youth as applicant).
