EUA webinar “A European Science Diplomacy Agenda in times of war – what can we expect?” (24.05.2022, online)
The European University Association is pleased to invite you to next webinar “A European Science Diplomacy Agenda in times of war – what can we expect?”. The Russian attack on Ukraine has deeply affected science diplomacy in Europe, coinciding with a new push from the European Union and its member states to develop policies for international research cooperation. In this situation, what can we expect from a European Science Diplomacy Agenda? Answering this question will include aspects of science diplomacy such as promoting evidence-based foreign policies, establishing international research cooperation and using research to achieve foreign policy goals. This webinar will discuss the EU plans and how these and national policies interplay with the strategies of the university sector.
