Final networking event of the EU Delegation to Ukraine project ‘Communications for European Integration’ (11.04.2025, Kyiv)

On 11 April 2025, a final networking event titled “Communications for European Integration” was held in Kyiv, marking the official conclusion of the project “Communicating European Union to Ukrainians” (CEU4U). As one of the active partners of EU communication initiatives, the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Ukraine team joined the event to reflect on years of successful cooperation.

The CEU4U project, launched by the EU Delegation to Ukraine in May 2021, has served as a powerful tool for raising public awareness regarding European Union policies and cooperation programmes. In recent years, a particular emphasis was placed on highlighting the EU’s unprecedented support for Ukraine amidst the full-scale war.

During the event, representatives of NEO in Ukraine, alongside other partners—including diplomats, educators, cultural figures, and media experts—discussed the effectiveness of communication strategies in the field of European integration. The programme featured:

  • Presentation of Project Achievements: An overview of the most successful campaigns that have reshaped the perception of EU programmes in Ukraine.

  • Interactive Formats: Participants visited the “Interactive CEU4U Museum” and took part in a thematic quiz.

  • Motivational Session: A highlight of the event was a speech by renowned journalist and publicist Vitaly Portnikov, dedicated to the challenges and prospects of Ukraine’s European future.

Throughout the duration of the CEU4U project, the NEO in Ukraine team actively participated in joint activities, promoting opportunities in education, youth, and sport as an integral part of the integration process. These collective efforts allowed thousands of Ukrainians to learn about professional and personal development tools funded by the European Union.

The event concluded with a networking session where participants exchanged experiences and outlined plans for further cooperation in strategic communications to support Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
