Grant Holders’ Meeting Erasmus+ Capacity Building Higher Education 2023 (7-8.02.2023, online)
On 7-8 February 2023, NEO – Ukraine team joined the Grant Holders’ Meeting Erasmus+ Capacity Building Higher Education 2023. The annual Grant Holders’ meeting on Capacity building in the field of higher education (ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE) organized every year at the end of contractualization period took place on 7th and 8th February 2023. The activities and outcomes of CBHE projects were geared to benefit the eligible third countries not associated to the programme, their higher education institutions and systems and this meeting was instructive to their implementation phase. The meeting addressed the contractual and financial requirements in order to ensure projects compliances with the rules and regulations governing the grants and familiarise them the respective procedures. The action had a global outreach covering the Western Balkans, the Eastern Partnership countries, the South Mediterranean countries, Asia, Central Asia, developing and developed Latin America and Caribbean countries and, Sub Saharan Africa.
The action was expected to contribute to the overarching priorities of the European Commission:

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, as well as representatives of CBHE 2022 projects teams joined the event. NEO – Ukraine Coordinator held meetings with representatives of the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture covering recommendations regarding the specifics of project implementation in Ukraine.As a result of the event, Ukrainian project teams received recommendations, acquired information and practical skills regarding the new rules and features of the implementation of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE projects, as well as built new relationships with representatives of offices and agencies in order to further synergy and maintaining a successful level of implementation of the EU Erasmus+ Program for Ukrainian stakeholders.
