Information Day for representatives of International Relations Offices of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions (relocated and newcomers) (20.12.2021, Kyiv)
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme Information Week in Ukraine, on 20 December 2021, NEO – Ukraine team organised offline Info Day for IROs from all regions of Ukraine as well as for relocated and newcomers. The Info Week was organised together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Erasmus Student Network Ukraine.
Info Day consisted of 2 parts: info sessions and 3 parallel trainings on different key action topics. Around 40 participants from HEIs of Ukraine (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odessa, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Vinnytsia and others) joined event physically.
During the info session NEO – Ukraine team provided presentations on new opportunities of Erasmus+ for 2021-2027, its features and priorities and novelties, in particular: HE, VET, adult education, school education, etc.
Speakers focused requirements, key documents and various stages of partners search, working with the NEO website and Funding & tender opportunities portal, Programme Guide and other related sources for successful participation within calls and further projects implementation.
In addition, participants were welcomed by the Vice-rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and were acquainted with the experience of the university in coordination of Erasmus+ projects (particularly ICM).
During the second part of the event, all participants joined three parallel training sessions on ICM, CBHE and Jean Monnet projects implementation. During these sessions, speakers in details presented new opportunities within the actions, its features and novelties, as well as key documents and guidelines for projects implementation and effective participation within the calls. Also, speakers stressed the importance of IROs support at the institutional level for HEIS staff on promotion of opportunities, partner search, application procedures, etc.
Participants improved awareness on new opportunities within Programme for 2021-2027, improved knowledge on Erasmus+ database with the participation of Ukrainian organisations, and improved understanding of boosting cooperation, synergies and exchange of good practices.
