Jean Monnet International School: University – School “EFFECTIVE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT FOR UKRAINE’S EUROPEAN FUTURE” (21-23.03.2024, online)

On 21-23 March 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine joined the Jean Monnet International School: University – School of “EFFECTIVE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT FOR UKRAINE’S EUROPEAN FUTURE” in an online format. The event was organised on the basis of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management of the National University of Food Technologies (NUFT) within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ projects “EU Renewable Energy Strategy as a Roadmap for Ukraine” (101085755 – JM RE – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) and Effective Waste Management in the EU – the best choice for Ukraine (101127175 – JM REW – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).

The initiative was actively supported by the school community – more than 280 registered, 95 participants on the first day of the School – teachers and pupils, college and university students, representatives of the scientific community, the public and business.

Agenda.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, PhD, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ office – Ukraine, in her welcoming speech focused the participants’ attention on the importance of the EU Erasmus+ Programme for Ukraine, opportunities for school education, dissemination of European values and ensuring the quality of the results of international projects.

Rector of the University, Professor Oleksandr SHEVCHENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Environmental Control Nataliya GREGIRCHAK and Head of the Department of Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Ihor YAKYMENKO also addressed the participants of the School with welcome words.
