Leadership Development Program of Ukrainian Universities: Synergy of EUs and British Council Projects (07.02.18, Kyiv)

On 7 February 2018, a meeting for participants of the Leadership Development Programme of Ukrainian Universities, launched by the British Council in Ukraine with the support of the Leadership Foundation (UK) took place in Kyiv. The event was organised by British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine with the participation HERE team and National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.

Teams from 14 universities from all over Ukraine – participants of the 2nd cycle of the Program – presented the results of projects implemented under the Programme. Representatives of universities participating in the first cycle of the Programme in 2016, British Council in Ukraine, the Institute of Higher Education, as well as leaders of new university teams – winners of the 2017 competition joined the discussion of the presented good practices.

Head of British Council in Ukraine, Simon WILLIAMS, welcome participants and stressed the importance and impact of the Programme on capacity building of Ukrainian universities, including relocated higher education institutions. Svitlana KALASHNIKOVA, Head of the Institute of Higher Education, HERE team member, and coordinator of the Programme in ukraine, joined the event and awasred representatives of winning projects.
