Participation in the Conference «NewUkraine: building Ukraine within a changing Europe» (24-25.11.2022, online)
On November 24-25, 2022, the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of Lodz University with partners from Ukraine organised the conference “NewUkraine: rebuiding of Ukraine within a changing Europe”. Coorganisers: Chernihiv Polytechnic National University and Ukrainian-Polish Academic Center of Science and Culture of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
Almost 600 participants from Poland, Ukraine, Great Britain and Canada joined international conference on the future of Ukraine.
During the conference, 10 moderated discussion panels on trade and investment, energy, integration with EU markets, farming, migration, social entrepreneurship, higher education, urban planning, trauma and war reparations were organized.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, presented current state of Ukrainian HE and its beneficiaries during the war, its challenges and needs at the individual, institutional and national levels, as well as opportunities and ideas for cooperation within the Erasmus+ call 2023. In addition, speaker highlighted key features if new Erasmus+ for 2021-2027, priorities and action for cooperation with Ukraine.
