Participation in the MESU online meeting on new procedures for the registration and monitoring of international technical assistance projects (29.06.2026)
On 29 June 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team took part in an online meeting dedicated to amendments to Resolution No. 153 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15 February 2002, “On the Establishment of a Unified System for the Attraction, Use and Monitoring of International Technical Assistance.”
Approximately 120 participants, including representatives of institutions implementing projects, joined the meeting.
During the meeting, an overview was presented of the amendments to the Procedure for the Attraction, Use and Monitoring of International Technical Assistance (ITA), introduced by Resolution No. 614 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 13 May 2026. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifications on the practical application of the updated procedures.
Particular attention was paid to the state registration and re-registration of ITA projects, monitoring their implementation, and preparing the relevant reports. Issues concerning recipients and implementers of ITA projects for which the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine acts as the beneficiary were also discussed.
The meeting also highlighted the requirement for recipients of ITA projects with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine as the beneficiary to submit, by 10 July 2026, the results of the semi-annual monitoring for the period from 1 January to 30 June 2026 or the final monitoring report, depending on the stage of project implementation. Reports must be prepared using the prescribed form in accordance with Resolution No. 153 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Participants were also encouraged to consult the information and guidance materials available on the Government Portal under “Registration of ITA Projects in Ukraine”. The section provides guidance on project registration, re-registration and monitoring procedures, as well as document templates.
Participation in the meeting helped update knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing the implementation of international technical assistance projects and the proper completion of monitoring and reporting procedures. Following the online meeting entitled “Amendments to Resolution No. 153 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15 February 2002 ‘On the Establishment of a Unified System for the Attraction, Use and Monitoring of International Technical Assistance’”, held on 29 June 2026, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine sent the relevant materials directly to registered participants for their reference and use in their work.
