Participation in the Official Opening of the LTA Beyond Borders – Neighbours together project (20-24.06.2022, Paris, France)
On June 20-24, 2022, the NEO team in Ukraine joined the opening of the LTA project Beyond Borders – Neighbors together, which took place in Paris, France. The event was organised by Erasmus+ Youth & Sports National Agencies (Poland, Slovenia, France, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic and Lithuania), SALTO Resource Centers (EuroMed, South East Europe and Eastern Europe and Caucasus) with the participation of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine and the Ukrainian delegation. Over 120 participants joined the event: Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers, Youth policy makers.
Overall objectives:
- Engage stakeholders in shaping priority areas of cooperation between Programme and Partner Countries, within the framework of the “Beyond borders – Neighbours together” partnership.
- Capitalise on the experience of existing projects, initiatives and expertise for mutual learning and future cooperation.
- Increase the understanding of how different stakeholders can benefit from opportunities for cooperation between Programme and Partner Countries.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, joined the event and shared information about current situation in Ukraine and the features of participation in the EUs Erasmus+ Programme during the martial law in Ukraine. The speaker focused on the current state of education and youth, challenges and ways to overcome them through cooperation with European partners.
