Participation in the presentation of the results of the British Council in Ukraine Programme “Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention Programme” (02.03.2024, Kyiv)

On 2 March 2024, the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine team participated in the presentation of the results of the programme “Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention” implemented by the British Council in Ukraine. The event took place in Kyiv.

The British Council in Ukraine, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sport, implemented the programme “Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention” from October 2023 to March 2024. The National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine team and National Experts on Higher Education Reform were involved in the programme as experts, moderators, and trainers.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator, and Zhanna TALANOVA, Deputy Coordinator – Manager for Analytical Work at the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, participated in the presentation of institutional projects led by Ukrainian universities. These projects were developed by Ukrainian university teams from 2023 as part of the programme, focusing on institutional change preparation, dialogue, and consensus-building within the academic community.

Other members of the Higher Education Reform Expert Team (HERE team) also participated in the event: Mychailo WYNNYCKYJ (Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine),  Oleg SHAROV (Director General of the Directorate of Higher Education and Professional Pre-Higher Education), Maryna MRUGA (State Expert on Higher and Adult Education at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), and Svitlana KALASHNIKOVA, Coordinator of the National eTwinning Support Office – Ukraine.

The discussion covered results, possible ways of further support for these projects, and synergies with Erasmus+ initiatives.
