Participation in the Sectoral Working Group “Youth” on the Coordination of International Technical Assistance (30.06.2026, Kyiv)

On 30 June 2026, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the meeting of the Sectoral Working Group “Youth” on the Coordination of International Technical Assistance, held in a hybrid format in Kyiv. The meeting was co-chaired by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Agenda

The meeting brought together representatives of public authorities, international organisations, development partners, and other stakeholders to discuss current priorities in youth policy and the coordination of international technical assistance. Participants reviewed the Annual Report on the Situation of Young People in Ukraine for 2022–2025, discussed support for young people affected by the war, examined the current state of digitalisation in youth policy, and worked on joint decisions for future cooperation.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, participated in the meeting. During the discussions, participants explored potential opportunities for further cooperation in the field of youth policy, international partnerships, and the use of the EU Erasmus+ Programme to support youth development in Ukraine.

The meeting provided a platform for strengthening coordination among governmental institutions, international partners, and organisations working in the youth sector, while fostering dialogue on the effective use of international technical assistance and the implementation of joint initiatives.
