Participation in the V Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference “Management and Administration in the Conditions of Countering Hybrid Threats to National Security” (17.10.2024, online)
On 7 October 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the V Anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference “Management and Administration in the Conditions of Countering Hybrid Threats to National Security”, which was held online. The event was organized by the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies in collaboration with the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and the Higher Educational Institution International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuri Bugay.
The event was part of the Erasmus+ project “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats” and was held under the #ErasmusDays 2024 initiative.
The conference participants were welcomed by:
- Yuriy PAVLOVYCH DUDNYK, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, and Project Team Leader of “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats, WARN” at the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies;
- Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine;
- Veronika YURIIVNA KHUDOLEI, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Rector of the Higher Educational Institution International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuri Bugay;
- Svitlana VALERIEVNA GRISHKO, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Economic Security Management at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, National Coordinator of the “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats, WARN” Project;
- Svitlana MYKHAILIVNA BONYAR, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management and Technologies, and member of the “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats, WARN” project team at the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies.
During her speech, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, emphasised the importance of academic collaboration in addressing contemporary challenges and hybrid threats.
The plenary session was also attended by Timo TIHONEN, Project Coordinator of “Academic Response to Hybrid Threats, WARN” from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
This year, the conference brought together 345 participants from 10 countries worldwide: Latvia, Norway, Germany, Poland, Czechia, Turkey, Australia, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine. Additionally, representatives from 75 research institutions and higher education institutions from 19 Ukrainian cities participated in the event.
