Participation of HERE team in methodical expertise of HE standards’ drafts

During 2017-2020, representatives of the National Higher Education Reform Experts Team of the Erasmus+ Programme and NEO in Ukraine together with the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine in accordance with the Procedure for reviewing and approving HE standards provide methodical expertise of draft standarts developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

According the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is responsible, in particular, for developing and approving standards of HE at three educational (Bachelor, Master, Doctor of Philosophy / Doctor of Arts) levels in 121 specialties, which together make 364 standards of HE.

As of June 2020, the HERE team provided methodological expertise of 176 draft HE standards, of which 135 were approved (Bachelor, Master). At present, the HERE team have started work on the methodological expertise of the draft standards of HE at the level of Doctor of Philosophy / Doctor of Arts.
