Participation of the HERE team in the meeting of the Working Group “Education&Science” (Higher Education Subgroup) of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the War (May-June 2022)
On May 11, 24, 26 and June 1, 2022, the NEO – Ukraine and the HERE team took part in the online meeting of the Working Group “Education&Science” (Higher Education Subgroup) of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the War.
The representative of NEO – Ukraine Zhanna TALANOVA, and HERE team members Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN, Volodymyr LUGOVYY, Oleg SHAROV joined the facilitated discussion on the main challenges in the field of higher education during the war and post-war situation in Ukraine. Based on the results of the meeting, the goals and tasks of the working group, the algorithm, and a list of challenges aimed to provide information and analytical support for the work of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the War were formed. During the event, NEO and HERE recommendations regarding the project of the Ukraine’s Recovery Plan taking into account the principles and approaches of the European Higher Education Area, were summarized and made public.

Additionally, during May-June 2022, Zhanna TALANOVA, NEO in Ukraine and HERE team members Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN, Volodymyr LUGOVYY, Oleg SHAROV, Maryna MRUGA took part in the preparation of the plan for the restoration of HE and VET, providing suggestions on the main challenges, goals and tasks, projects and programs, SWOT analysis table taking into account the war and post-war situation in Ukraine. Based on the results of the work, the detailed information and analytical support for the work of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine from the War were prepared.
