Presentation of the EU Erasmus + Programme within the round table “Internationalization of higher and VET education: challenges and prospects” (05.05.2022, online)

On 5 May 2022, a round table “Internationalization of higher and VET education: challenges and prospects” was held in celebration of the 25th anniversary of King Danylo University.

98 participants (representatives of higher and vocational education institutions) joined the event.

Erasmus+ projects in Portuguese schools and colleges have been presented by Rui Balthazar, Digital Ambassador to the Association of Teacher Training Centers (Portugal), coordinator and participant of more than 25 international projects in recent years.

The issue of integration of the system of VET education of Ukraine into the world educational area was covered by Inna Varvaruk, Director of the Professional College of the King Danylo University.

Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine Veronika Tkachenko presented opportunities for higher and vocational education institutions of Ukraine within the Erasmus+ Programme, features of the calls and innovations for Ukrainian organizations. The speaker stressed the expansion of opportunities for higher and VET institutions, which opens new horizons for international cooperation and the establishment of new fruitful contacts and joint projects. Particular attention was paid to Mobility opportunities in higher and vocational education, Cooperation projects (Capacity Building in Higher and VET education, Partnerships for Cooperation, Alliances for Innovation, Centers of Vocational Excellence) and Jean Monnet Actions.
