QA system in Ukraine – higher education standards development
Representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine and National HERE team since 2016 are involved in the process of developing higher education standards and carry out methodical expertise of draft standards in cooperation with the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. Coordination of the work is provided by the NEO – Ukraine together with the Scientific and Methodological Council (Higher Education Sector) and the Directorate of Higher and Vocational Pre-Tertiary Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Methodical expertise is carried out in accordance with the Methodical recommendations for the higher education standards development (approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), considering the approaches and principles of the European Higher Education Area. Based on the results of the work, methodical expertise of more than 250 projects was carried out.
Methodical expertise of 14 draft standards in 2023 was carried out by the National Higher Education Reforming Experts (a project of the EU Erasmus+ Programme), the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine and researchers of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine (in accordance with the Methodical recommendations for 2020):
