Regional discussion “Volyn: from recovery to development in the war and post-war period” (18-19.12.2023, online)
On December 18-19, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team joined the regional discussion “Volyn: from recovery to development in the war and post-war period”, held in Lutsk as part of the “Enhanced Partnership for Sustainable Recovery” project implemented by UNDP in Ukraine with the support of the Government of Sweden.
The objective of the event is to strengthen the dialogue between local governments, regional authorities, business, and civil society in the context of strategic sustainable development priorities in the context of war, problem solving, overcoming obstacles and challenges caused by the war, and to develop a conceptual vision of priority areas and projects for regional development in Volyn Oblast.
The partner of the meeting was the Volyn Regional Development Agency.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mustafa SAIT-AMETOV, Programme Manager of UNDP Ukraine, declared further cooperation with the stakeholders of Volyn Oblast and emphasised the formation of high-quality and sustainable cross-sectoral partnerships that will continue to result in quality development projects.
During the panel discussion: The Role and Place of EU Programmes and Calls in the Preparation and Implementation of Regional Development Projects in Volyn Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented opportunities for participation in Erasmus+ Programme calls and provided information on funded projects for further synergy and cooperation.
The event lasted two days and included a panel discussion, exchange of experience, and practical development of projects and proposals.
