Round Table “Perspectives of the EU-Ukraine Strategic Partnership” (25.05.2022, online)
On 25 May 2022, the National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine joined the Round Table “Perspectives of the EU-Ukraine Strategic Partnership”, which took place as part of the EU Career Day at the Odessa National Economic University (online).
More than 120 participants took part in the online broadcast of the event.
Among the invited speakers of the event, there were Anatoliy KOVALYOV, Rector of ONEU, Oleksandr LITVINOV, Vice-Rector for Research of ONEU, Denys CHERNIKOV, Project Manager of EU Information Networks in Ukraine, Iryna KOROBKOVA, Assistant General of BMW, Ivanna ATAMANCHUK, Manager of the NEO in Ukraine.
During the Round Table, the speakers discussed Ukraine’s European integration and perspectives for the development of partnership between Ukraine and the EU in the postwar period, the importance of the European Union’s support during Ukraine’s military confrontation with the Russian aggressor and thanked the EU for its support. Business representatives stressed the importance of career guidance activities for young people in the context of career days, as it promotes closer communication between students, teachers and employers.
In the context of Ukraine’s European integration aspirations, the relevance of which has taken a new color in the current situation of military aggression against Ukraine, Ivanna ATAMANCHUK in her presentation outlined a number of extraordinary measures to integrate Ukrainian educators on mobility projects in higher education in Europe under Erasmus+. The representative of the NEO in Ukraine stressed the importance of involving educational institutions, businesses and other organizations in Erasmus + international mobility projects, gaining valuable European experience and competences via participating in Erasmus + mobility, necessary for the reconstruction of Ukraine in the post-war period.
