ServU Kick-off Meeting and Conference (28.11.2023, online/offline)
On November 28-30, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team joined the ServU Kick-off Meeting and Conference which took place at the Ukrainian Catholic University and online. The event was organised by the Ukrainian Catholic University, Sumy State University and National TU Dnipro Polytechnic.
Over the course of three days, a number of online and offline events dedicated to socially-oriented learning were held.
More than 37 participants joined the event.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, congratulated the team on success in a tough call and thanked for their hard work, support of partners during the difficult time of challenges and consequences of martial law in Ukraine. The speaker also emphasised on the main priorities during the project implementation with a focus on overcoming the challenges and consequences of war; importance of modern and innovative content, methodologies, resources and results, as well as inclusiveness and the use of digital and green technologies.
The conference participants discussed the importance and relevance of the third mission of universities – public service, European experience, best practices, cooperation between universities and communities through socially oriented education, and the first steps of Ukrainian universities in developing this area.
