European Education Summit: A reality for all – 2023 (30.11.2023, Brussels)
On November 30, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team joined the annual flagship event – Sixth European Education Summit “The European Education Area: A reality for all”, organised by the European Education Area (EEA).
The main questions that guided the discussions during the 2023 edition included:
- How can we improve the education and training sectors to the benefit of all?
- How are the EU countries planning to better invest in quality education and training?
- How can we ensure that people are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in the green and digital transitions?
Policy-makers for EU institutions and from EU countries, as well as key stakeholders of the education and training community from across the EU, discussed ideas and best practices in answer to these questions and more. Together, they brought new perspectives, innovative solutions and creative approaches to help make the European Education Area a reality for all.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine participated in the plenary sessions and joined the working groups and discussions during the event.
Also, information was prepared and provided for the participation of Yevhen KUDRIAVETS, First Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, for a presentation during the event, who spoke on behalf of Ukraine at the high-level panel discussion “Educational Challenges in the Eastern Region”. Yevhen KUDRIAVETS spoke about the reforms, the state of readiness in the framework of education for EU accession, and reported on the important issue of supporting national minorities.
