All-Ukrainian Seminar “Opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme for Higher Education Institutions” (22.08.2024, Uman)
On 22 August 2024, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, gathered partners from 17 Ukrainian universities for an Erasmus+ Programme Information Session. Around 80 participants attended the event to learn about the EU Erasmus+ Programme as a tool for internationalisation and transformation of Ukrainian education on the path to EU membership.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, presented the key priorities, areas, and ideas for participating in calls, complementarities between programme actions, and opportunities for collaboration between universities and other organisations. In the second part of the meeting, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University shared its experience in international cooperation and project implementation. Participants discussed the main features and challenges of implementing projects during martial law.
The team of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University has become a project coordinator for the first time and is working on signing the Grant Agreement with its multinational partnership.
Project title: Comprehensive Introduction of Augmented and Alternative Communication Methodology into the Ukrainian System of Education. Information about projects implemented in Ukraine is available in the Projects section. The university leadership and project team met to discuss key features and initial steps. The speaker highlighted resources for project implementers and shared information on communication channels for quick interaction. Participants also visited the university’s innovative centres established under the Erasmus+ MOPED project, which continue to operate actively within the institution. The university team expressed gratitude for the significant long-term impact of the project and thanked the MOPED project coordinator and team for their support during martial law.
