Conference on the state-of-art in academic mobility (12-13.09.19, Lviv)
On September 12-13, 2019, the NEO-Ukraine representatives participated in the Jean Monnet Project 599469-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPJMO-СоЕ (Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence) “Western Ukrainian Research Center for European Studies” event devoted to discussions of the state-of-art in academic mobility implementation and future development perspectives in Ukraine organized by the Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Lviv, Ukraine.
Besides the NEO-Ukraine, 50 participants represented the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, ENIC Ukraine – National Information Centre of Academic Mobility, IROs’ staff from the Universities of Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv. The event participants increased their awareness on the JM Project research on education reform policies in compliance with the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, presentation of the NEO-Ukraine on achievements, challenges and good practices of the Ukrainian HEIs implementing the Erasmus+ ICM projects, best cases of the leading ICM HEIs on mobility window incorporation into study programmes and effective mobility recognition mechanisms. Also, during the NEO-Ukraine training workshop, the participants developed their practical skills on Inter-Institutional agreement preparation, course catalogues compiling, course selection, running mobility period, learning outcomes recognition, other issues on the real selected examples of the European and Ukrainian universities.
