Digitization of the economy in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic as a strategic platform for the development of the state (24.04.2023, online)
On 24 April 2023, an introductory conference “Digitalization of the economy in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic as a strategic platform for the development of the state” was held online on the Zoom platform. The event is organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine (EU Project) together with the Representation of the European Union in Ukraine, the European Agency for Education, Audiovisual Media and Culture (EASEA), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in close cooperation with the Zaporizhia National University.
The event was attended by more than 85 participants (graduates of ZNU, NPP of ZNU, Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, business representatives, representatives of other universities of Ukraine, representatives of other universities of EU countries).
In her welcome speech, Cherep A., dean of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU (participant of the project) drew attention to the relevance and significance of this project. I. Dashko, professor of the department of personnel management and marketing of ZNU (project coordinator) emphasised the goals, tasks and expected results of the project in her presentation.
At the beginning of the presentation, Gennadiy Vasylchuk, PhD, professor, vice-rector for scientific work gave a welcome speech, who noted the relevance and significance of the project both for the Faculty of Economics and for ZNU as a whole. The event was also attended by Zhanetta Seminaviche, Honorary Consul of Estonia in Lithuania, Doctor of Economics, Professor at Romeris University of Lithuania; Olha Gonchar, doctor of economics, professor, professor of the department of economic theory, entrepreneurship and trade of Khmelnytskyi National University; Dmytro Antoniuk, vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Zaporizhia region, doctor of economics, professor; Dmytro Savenko, director of the Charitable Fund of Cities named after M. Savenko, Volodymyr Hrytsenko, head of the personnel development department of PJSC “Zaporizhstal”, Natalya Vengerska, coordinator of the project “Diversification of rural tourism through balance and creativity: dissemination of European experience in Ukraine” (Erasmus+ JMM DIRUT), doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economics, Natural Resources and Economics of International Tourism and Kateryna Brutyan, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, Director of the Center for Interactive Development “ARISTOCRAT” in Kryvyi Rih, who emphasised fruitful cooperation for the development of of Ukraine and the deepening of the European vector of integration.
In his speech, the representative of the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine Petro KRAINIK highlighted such issues as: the dissemination of European values and EU experience, international and inter-project cooperation, the implementation of Jean Monnet projects during the war and the main challenges, ensuring synergy with other projects of the EU Erasmus+ Programme and formation of additional values within the project.
