European Commission announces selection results 2015-2016 on Erasmus+ KA1: International Credit Mobility

Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission announced the selection result of 2015-2016 year’s Erasmus+ KA1: International Credit Mobility – ICM.

Among more than 150 Erasmus+ Partner countries, Ukraine ranks the 3rd in International Credit Mobility selection results, and among Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) ranks the 1st. Accordingly, Ukraine has obtained 16 108 000 EUR for students exchange and staff mobility projects.

Partnerships with Ukrainian universities applied 618 ICM projects, among which 374 will be financed. As follows, 3455 students and staff will go for exchange and mobility from Ukraine to European universities, and 1067 will come to Ukrainian universities from Europe.

Background:
Erasmus+ is the European Union Programme for 2014-2020 to support projects, partnerships, events and mobility in the areas of education, training, youth and sport. Erasmus+ “Learning Mobility” for International Credit Mobility projects envisages cooperation between higher education institutions of Programme and Partner countries, such as Ukraine, for student and staff mobility based on interinstitutional agreements.
