On May 13, 2026, the team from the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine took part in the cluster event “Building Resilient Minds for a Digital Future”, organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE projects Digi-Change, BURN, and UkraineDigiTrans.

The event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, international project consortia, public authorities, the Erasmus+ community, and international partners to discuss current challenges related to the digital transformation of education and the development of psychological resilience in times of continuous change.

The discussions focused on building a resilient mindset in the digital environment, supporting the psychological well-being of students and academic staff, developing future-oriented competences, and strengthening the role of universities in preparing individuals for life and work under conditions of uncertainty. Particular attention was paid to the digitalisation of education, the development of a future-ready mindset, psychological resilience, and the transformation of educational environments in Ukraine and across Europe.

Within the event, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, delivered a presentation on the role of the EU Erasmus+ Programme in supporting digital transformation, strengthening institutional capacity, and fostering international cooperation in response to contemporary challenges. The presentation highlighted the contribution of Erasmus+ projects to the development of resilient educational ecosystems, the enhancement of digital competences, and the promotion of innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Participants emphasised that modern universities are not only places for acquiring knowledge but also environments that foster adaptability, critical thinking, psychological resilience, and mutual support. The importance of international cooperation and inter-university partnerships for sharing good practices in digital transformation and supporting the well-being of academic communities was also underlined.

The event provided a platform for exchanging experience among Erasmus+ project participants, discussing the future of digital education, and identifying effective solutions for strengthening the resilience of educational systems in the face of rapid societal and technological change.
