More than 230 HEIs staff, students, representatives of research institutions, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National QA Agency, and members of the National Higher Education Reform Experts Team joined the Zoom webinar. In addition, during the day, the Facebook live was viewed by more than 3 000 users.

During the Plenary Session on Higher Education Quality and Bologna Process Oleg SHAROV, Director General, Directorate of Higher and Adult Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, HERE team, presented the results and follow-up to the EHEA Ministerial Conference Rome 2020. Svitlana KALASHNIKOVA, Director of the Institute of Higher Education, NAES of Ukraine, HERE team, highlighted results, priorities, challenges, and innovations of the EHEA Ministerial Conference Rome 2020.

Presentation of Yuriy RASHKEVYCH, Member of the National Qualifications Agency; Deputy Minister of Education and Sciences of Ukraine (2017-2019), HERE team, was related to the achievements, challenges and prospects of the Bologna Process in Ukraine for 2005-2020.

Bologna tools and approaches in teaching and learning were highlighted by Steffen WESTERGÅRD ANDERSEN, Director of Operations, Universities and Higher Education Institutions of Arts, the Danish Accreditation Institution – TAM expert.

Panel Session 1 on Role of Teaching and Learning in Quality of Higher Education started with the speech of Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator, NEO – Ukraine. Different issues of Teaching and Learning Quality Improvement via projects, networks, professional development system were stressed in the presentation of Iryna ZOLOTARYOVA, Member of the National QA Agency; Professor, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, HERE team, Olena ORZHEL, Head of the Policy and Governance in Higher Education Department, Institute of Higher Education, NAES of Ukraine, British Council project – Teaching Excellence in Higher Education, Vitaliy KUKHARSKYI, Vice-Rector, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Erasmus+ project – University Teachers’ Certification Centres: Innovative Approach to Promotion Teaching Excellence – UTTERLY (2021-2024). Steffen WESTERGÅRD ANDERSEN presentation was dedicated to the importance of the role of Teaching and Learning for Quality Higher Education.

During the Panel Session 2 on Data Collection and Quantitative Evaluation Tools for Internal QA Andriy BUTENKO, Deputy Head, National QA Agency, outlined the aspects of information management as a part of the QA in Higher Education.

The event ended with the presentation of TAM expert Steffen WESTERGÅRD ANDERSEN on Qualitative and Quantitative evaluation tools for quality assessment: data collection and interpretation, quality monitoring etc.
