Participation in the Erasmus+ CBHE DESTIN project Final Сonference (09-10.11.2022, online)
On November 9-10, 2022, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine participated in Erasmus+ CBHE DESTIN project Final Сonference on results of international cooperation and the planning of further steps for the implementation of the ambitious project of reforming journalism education.
The participants of the final meeting were representatives of universities and journalistic organizations from Ukraine, Great Britain, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Ireland.
The main achievements of the DESTIN project can be considered the analysis, evaluation, revision of existing and implementation of 20 updated bachelor’s and master’s curricula and programs for training journalists in 10 Ukrainian universities in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and European standards. The joint result of the team work of the participants of the DESTIN project was online training courses on media literacy.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, joined the event with the welcome speech and provided recommendations on project’s implementation during the war, the quality of achieved results, as well as general situation around international project activities, etc. Speaker also presented current state of Ukrainian HE and its beneficiaries during the war, its challenges and needs at the individual, institutional and national levels, as well as opportunities and ideas for cooperation within the Erasmus+ call 2023.
