International Seminar “Development of an inclusive educational environment based on a student-centered approach” (19.12.2024, online)
On 19 December 2024 National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine organised seminar “DEVELOPMENT OF AN INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT BASED ON A STUDENT-CENTERED APPROACH”.
The event was organized and held within the framework of the Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) of the EU Erasmus+ Programme with the support of SPHERE and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
Over 150 participants joined the event.

Oleg SHAROV, Director General, Directorate for Vocational Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator, National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine addressed the seminar participants with welcome remarks on the development of higher education in accordance with the principles of the EHEA and national legislation.
Volodymyr BAKHRUSHYN, Professor, National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”; Member of the Scientific and Methodical Council (Chair of the Higher Education Unit), MESU of Ukraine, HERE presented the mechanism of building the student’s individual educational trajectory based on a student-centered approach.
Iryna ZOLOTARYOVA, Professor, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics; Member of the NAQA, HERE highlighted approaches on creating a digital inclusive educational environment in a higher education institution on using Universal Design for learning.
Presentations of Horia Șerban ONIȚA, Head of the European Higher Education Area Secretariat, Former President of the European Students’ Union (2023-2024), TAM expert were devoted the European trend and practice of the building the student’s individual educational trajectory /path based on a student-centered approach and Development/design of curricular using digital tools for providing an inclusive educational process.
Maria MYSHLOVSKA, МA student, Ukrainian Catholic University, HERE highlighted the role of students in implementation of the student’s individual educational trajectory / path based on a student-centered approach.
Also, the speakers provided answers to the seminar participants and explanations regarding current problems in implementing an individual educational trajectory of a student-centered approach. Mychailo WYNNYCKKYJ, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, HERE joined the question-and-answer session.
