EAIE 2023 Follow-Up Webinar for Ukrainian HEI “Boost Your Network and Share Your Internationalisation Experience at the EAIE conference” (11.10.2023, online)
11 October 2023 Leibniz Universität Hannover and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in cooperation with National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Professional Network of Research and HE Managers (PNRM Ukraine), and European Association for International Education (EAIE) within #ErasmusDays 2023 was held EAIE 2023 Follow-Up Webinar for Ukrainian HEI “Boost Your Network and Share Your Internationalisation Experience at the EAIE conference”.
At this webinar, participants learned about the largest and most relevant professional event in Europe on the topic of internationalisation of higher education – Annual EAIE conference and exhibition.
EAIE is a member-driven organisation that is also the European centre of expertise, cooperation and exchange in the field of internationalisation. The EAIE Conference and Exhibition, attended annually by more than 6,400 professionals from more than 90 countries, is a unique platform for learning, knowledge transfer and strategic exchange in all areas of higher education internationalisation in Europe and beyond. It is also a place where you can meet your Erasmus+ partners and network with many others.
Thanks to the support of the EAIE, representatives of Ukrainian higher education institutions together with the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, the Professional Network of Education and Research Managers of Ukraine (PNRM) and the Ukrainian State Centre for International Education represented Ukraine at this Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. They shared their thoughts, experiences and the latest trends from the exhibition and conference.
This initiative, as well as the participation of Ukrainian universities in the EAIE, was coordinated by the International Department of Leibniz University of Hannover within the framework of the Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation project, implemented jointly with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to support the internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education institutions. This project is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds provided by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). One of its goals is to integrate Ukrainian higher education and science into European structures.
